Location: Southern California, Hybrid Work Schedule
Requirements: Ph.D. degree in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, 10+ years exp. USPTO Registration is required.
A broad range of patent-related legal expertise is required, including patent preparation, both U.S. and foreign prosecution, IP due diligence, and strategic counseling. Extensive experience drafting patent applications directed to gene therapy, antibodies, peptides, and other biologics. Ability to independently oversee legal matters, review and negotiate license agreements and IP clauses in other agreements, patent litigation support, manage outside legal counsel globally, and work collaboratively with other personnel. Ability to set aggressive deadlines, handle multiple complex legal matters, and see projects through to conclusion.
Compensation - Extremely Competitive Base, Annual Cash Bonus and Equity
